Overview
One of the few remaining tracts of coastal habitat in Southern California, Ormond Beach is a bird watchers paradise. Raptors, water birds, swallows, sparrows, finches, hummingbirds, seagulls and crows feed at Ormond Beach's wetlands. The Coastal Conservancy is currently restoring the wetland and grassland habitats, and in the future, visitors will enjoy a wildlife preserve, nature trails, and an environmental education center.
