From the national award winning California Strawberry Festival in May to the spicy Salsa Festival in July, Oxnard sure knows how to celebrate! Every season brings its own calendar of events and programs!
Whale watching season runs from late December through mid-April with the Celebration of Whales in March. Annually Oxnard hosts International Restaurant Week in January. Summer-time brings free outdoor summer concerts, air shows, car shows wine tastings and festivals of every flavor. The Multicultural Festival and Oktoberfest arrives in October, and then in December ... it's all about lights! The Parade of Lights in the harbor, Christmas Tree Lane in Oxnard's historic district, and the Winter Fantasy & Light Show in downtown Oxnard.
