A spectacular computer choreographed music and light show that plays on the quarter hour each hour from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through New Years Eve at the Historic Pagoda in Plaza Park, downtown Oxnard. There are over 27,000 lights that dance to holiday music. Bundle up, bring a blanket to sit on and come down to watch! Enjoy dinner, dessert, or movie afterwards at Centennial Plaza across the street.

The annual Oxnard Tamale Festival, held in conjunction with the Oxnard Christmas Parade in downtown Oxnard, will feature authentic home-style tamales served by local restaurants and vendors.
The festival will include tamale making demonstrations, eating contest, live mariachi music from Oxnard High School and local group Inlakech, raffles, arts & crafts for kids, and a visit by Santa Claus.

Don't miss an opportunity to learn culinary secrets at La Dolce Vita Restaurant taught by Owner and Executive Chef Michelle. Classes may also include guest chefs. Classes are scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. every 4th Saturday of the month. Classes are $49.00 per person and must be prepaid. The culinary experience includes your meal, a glass of wine, and hands on training (not just watching!). Call for menu details and reservations. We have had over 85 classes so far and everybody is raving about them!
