BY AIR:
The Oxnard Airport (OXR)is centrally located just a mile and a half from the civic center to the east, and the beach to the west. Most Oxnard hotels provide transportation to and from the Oxnard airport.

BY CAR:
Golden beaches, dolphins, crashing surf...these are just a few of the sights you'll see driving from Los Angeles to Oxnard along the coastal route. From downtown L.A. take the Santa Monica Freeway (10) west to Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) and head north. You'll cruise by classic California beaches like Santa Monica, Malibu, and Zuma. Depending on traffic, this spectacular drive takes about 60 minutes and it's worth every second. Want to zip up to Oxnard on the freeway? You can drive from downtown L.A. to Oxnard in less than 90 minutes via the 101 Freeway. From LAX, take the 405 north then Highway 101 Freeway north to Oxnard.
BY BUS:
Greyhound (Toll Free 800.231.2222) links the city with points throughout the United States.
BY TRAIN:
Travel on Amtrak to Oxnard. The Pacific Surfliner traveling between San Diego, LA/OC and San Luis Obispo, stops 10 times daily at the Oxnard Transportation Center. The Coast Starlight provides daily service to Oxnard from Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Sacramento, Portland, and Seattle. The San Joaquin provides daily service between the Bay Area, Sacramento, Fresno and the Central Valley to Oxnard via connecting Thruway Bus service from Bakersfield.
