Calendar of Events
From the national award winning California Strawberry Festival in May to the spicy Salsa Festival in July, Oxnard sure knows how to celebrate. Every season brings its own calendar of events and programs!
Whale watching season runs from late December through mid-April. Tall Ships dock at Oxnard's Channel Islands Harbor in February. Summer-time brings outdoor summer concerts, car shows and festivals of every flavor. The Autumn home tour arrives in September, and December ... it's all about lights! The Parade of Lights at the harbor, Christmas Tree Lane in Oxnard's historic district, and the Winter Fantasy & Light Show in downtown Oxnard.

Don't miss an opportunity to learn culinary secrets at La Dolce Vita Restaurant taught by Owner and Executive Chef Michelle. Classes may also include guest chefs. Classes are scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. every 4th Saturday of the month. Classes are $49.00 per person and must be prepaid. The culinary experience includes your meal, a glass of wine, and hands on training (not just watching!). Call for menu details and reservations. We have had over 85 classes so far and everybody is raving about them!

Gather your friends, family and neighbors for a "walk-in" movie experience in the park at dusk. The giant inflatable movie screen and incredible speakers make for great viewing and movie watching pleasure. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Popcorn and other treats will be sold at each park.
